Song: Hold On Loosely       "A Note on the Harmonies" Karmeleaux
Of course I picked up this song, because it's awesome. And when one of my friends was over, we decided to try harmonies, because this song is awesome.

The harmonies are not awesome. The entire thing is one vocal part, except the 'who told me' before the chorus. I imagine it's not a bad song to sing solo, but as harmonies go it was a HUGE disappointment because there's only one (recurring) part, which easily can be sung by the lead vocalist too.

It's fine to grab it for the vocals, but if you're explicitly looking for good harmony DLC, I know I feel the Bee Gees I grabbed was amazing, the Bon Jovi I grabbed was pretty good, and I imagine pretty much all the Queen next week will set a new high.

Artist: Bill Bruford's Earthworks       "For the Uninformed" Karmeleaux
Bill Bruford was also the original drummer for Yes, playing on their first five albums. He has also played with a number of other bands, notables including King Crimson and Genesis.

Dude's a pretty good drummer, is what I'm saying.

Cream and Bastards Rise is probably the best suited for Rock Band (well, maybe Cool James), but to me Moral Centralia and Little Round Mirrors are far stronger songs.

I'm not sure if this is relevant enough for a discussion topic, but it's good and it's free so I'm going to try pushing it here and seeing what happens.

While we're here, for some relevance: The title of the song "Cream and Bastards Rise" is a quote by Paul Newman's character in Harper (1966), according to Wikipedia. Now you know.
