If this only turns out to be RB3 without the glitches and bad setlist, I'll be happy. The problem will be with marketability. How do we get audiences to think this is a fresh idea so it sells?

1) Muse

2) Moar Muse

3) Led Zeppelin

4) Freddy Kruger as a playable character.

Get cOd's Call Of The Dead for that last one.

And GH has Muse already.

As much as i like to watch you people complain Let me break down WoR and RB3 for people who think that GH should be 100% like RB.

Vocals gameplay
The WoR Vocal system is PERFECT on wii and 360 and broke on PS3.
RB3 Vocal system baby steps you by default, unless, you turn off pitch correction

Gameplay in general
WoR - Heavily glitched on PS3 and Wii, while it remains perfect on 360...oh gee, i wonder WHY!! /small rant. PS3 would be an ideal development platform if it wasnt so damned expensive to develop on. Tho I think that is a lot of hogwash, Hmx and Neversoft didn't want to develop on that console, nuff said.... The hit window is a little more loose and FORGIVING.

RB3 - Various issues remain unfixed on the game. From what i seen PS3 still has the random quit issue, load times are horrendous, and blah blah blah. 360 still has the Audition mode bugs. Also the lack of competitive modes. I'm waiting for Hmx to make a patch that you pay for, for face off and such. Which will happen at some point when they need money. Lastly, The hit window is not like RB2's, but it's still tough as hell.

Charting
GUITAR/BASS
If they take away what made the songs more accurate, then im done with music games. GH is not meant to be a serious game. I've always looked at it like this, GH is your arcade fun, RB is for your serious player. They aren't even on the same playground so why compare the two. i support the extended sustains and open bass notes. They add a degree of challenge to the game. Before you say i know nothing. I work for a RBN authoring company and I'm a customs creator. I know my ways in and about a chart. Compare Free Bird, RB version is horribly overcharted. While the GH version is just right. i blame those hopo chords on RB.

DRUMS
Crap on GH, Rock on RB...no comment

VOX
Impossible to screw up, tho neversoft messed up on GHWT. But got better with every game. Hmx has a background in it if i remember right.

AS for my final thoughts, Im hoping Vicarious Visions is developing the new title. Would be tons better and most probably be patched more then once.

I cant believe this is my first post, lol

I've heard about the PS3 glitches but I've also heard of people not having any problems with PS3... That blu-ray system is finnicky

it ain't just dead player, the vocal system should be fixed. that goes for calibration too.

It's not actually, if the games were properly ported there wouldn't be those problems. I wouldn't mind waiting an extra month or 2 for games knowing full well that they will be next to perfect on launch date on all available platforms :/

Nobody seems to know what pitch correction actually is. Hint: it's not something that makes you automatically score better, that's silly.

Rock Band vocal engine is looser than Guitar Hero... It's the only tight thing on Guitar Hero and the only loose thing on Rock Band haha

It does for me, kinda.

Well, I can actually hit low notes now.

And TM, the mic in GH is less sensitive. The beginning of the phrase never scores no matter what. Fix that and clear up your "pitch location" and everything will be fine.

Have you played WoR because they fixed that issue by giving more leniency on the first note of each phrase

Yes, I have. No, it's not completely fixed. Just let us turn the sensitivity up and all will be well.

Aside from the broken early imported charts.

but RB3 doesn't have sensitivity anymore either and that's totally annoying because the volume is either the loudest thing ever or non-existant

True, now I can't hear myself through the TV on RB3, but at least it registers and scores and stuff.
