I believe there's some interview around where they ask him about his lyrics and he pretty bluntly explained that he just puts words together that sounds good

Not according to the booklet of the cd

Kurt was a crazy SOB. I doubt subpop would include lyrics in the CD booklet that encouraged teenage suicide. So they made it more PC with words that sounded close to it and were more fan friendly. Again this is just my opinion.

What?!? This is madness!

Oh, and that preview again confirmed for me that You Know You're Right is a terrible song.

There is a movie that comes on IFC from time to time called Been a Son. It's audio interviews with Kurt at different times in his career with some pretty cool picture of things. He talks about his heroin addiction and Dave,Chris and that slut Courtney. It's worth watching. Check it out if you guys n gals ever see it on.

Sub Pop? Nevermind wasn't released on Sub Pop, Bleach and Incesticide were. Nirvana was already gone from Sub Pop by the time they recorded Nevermind.

Also, Kurt really does sing "A denial" in Smells Like Teen Spirit.

The Shins, R.E.M., Yes, Beck, Bob Dylan, The Beatles and The Mars Volta are also big fans of that kind of songwriting.

You are correct sir. Nevermind was released by DGC. Thank you for correcting me.

Take out Rape Me and You Know You're Right.

Insert Aneurysm and Love Buzz.

Best Nirvana pack ever.

Personally I think Heart Shaped Box is the weakest song of the pack but I guess I don't really consider it bad since I'm giving it heavy consideration for a pro upgrade

That isn't how I remember You Know You're Right....

Love Buzz is probably one of my favorite songs by them. Good cover. I also really like Hairspray Queen.

But this pack was to be expected, I almost expected a deep cut to be included in place of probably Rape Me but eh

Alot of Nirvana lyrics are miss heard or changed to be more PC. IMO at the end of Smells like Teen Spirit Kurt is saying "Let me die young" instead of "in denial" or what ever is commonly accepted.

I don't think on that song, but I like how the last lyric of Stay Away is actually "God is gay!" :)

I could live with this!

I like alot of the songs from the box set too: Sappy, Opinions, others I can't think of the name of without looking, hehe

Edit: Love Buzz is actually a cover if I'm not mistaken though.

Love the bass in Hairspray Queen. Sounds like something a germ would listen too if it could... and dunno why but that's the image I get.
