But here's the thing: I've listened to this song outside of these games countless times. The GHSH chart is definitely right in that regard. Either they're gone from the audio altogther or HMX fucked up big time.
So big time, in fact, I'm considering packing it in.
I just bought it and look at it with volume adjusted, those kicks aren't there in the RB version. They must've gotten different audio files than GH got.

I seriously hope you're talking about an ABB pack and not a Southern Rock pack (3 ABB songs in one genre-oriented pack seems very excessive). Personally, I'd rather see "Hot Lanta" get some love because it would be an instrumental orgasm.
And if we were to get a Southern Rock pack, we'd better get some damn Marshall Tucker Band!
As for Skynyrd, I'd rather get another large pack for them.
And while I think about it, "The Weight" by the Band (which has been leaked multiple times) could technically fall under "Southern Rock" as well, seeing as it's roots rock (which apparently counts as southern rock, given CCR's listed genre)!
OMG SOUTHERN ROCK PACK NOW!!!
Late, but yes. I was talking only about ABB, there's plenty more stuff I'd want to see in a Southern Rock pack.

Why else would I still be here?!
Well, downloaded all the DLC this week, here are my Guitar impressions on them all!
The Darkness - I Believe In A Thing Called Love Sightread Score: Gold Stars, 100% FC
"Really didn't expect this one to be as fun as it actually was. Fun chordy sections during the main chorus, and three extremely well charted solos makes for me, easily one of the best RB3 songs to come out yet, and easily in my top 10 of all time on Guitar. Totally reccomend this one to anybody out there. The last solo is AMAZING!"
Rob Zombie - Living Dead Girl Sightread Score: Gold Stars, 100% FC
"A classic halloween anthem right here. To be honest though, there's not much going on here, most a bunch of slow sustains and single notes, with a few chords scattered throughout. There's also an alt strummy section between the choruses that help break things up, and what I believe to be a little Sitar section at the halfway point too. Not bad, but nothing special, would've also liked "Boogie Man" by Zombie too, but hey, you can't have it all, eh?"
White Zombie - Thunder Kiss '65 Sightread Score: Gold Stars, 99% Notes Hit
"A Guitar Hero classic! Like solo's? Well you're in luck, because there's 5 of them in this song that show up on a regular occurence. All of them just tricky enough to make you slip up if you're not on your feet, with sweeping hammer-ons all over the fretboard and tough to hit strum notes thrown in too. A good, solid chart and a pretty fun song despite the plodding chorus parts. Worth getting for the GH nostalgia alone in my opinion."
White Zombie - Super Charger Heaven Sightread Score: Gold Stars, 99% Notes Hit
"Of all the songs on Guitar this week, I think this one will cause the greatest divide of opinions from those who play it. It's a very fast paced song with a large emphasis on alt-strummin, with a lot of hammer-on notes wedged between the strumming that takes you up and down the fretboard. For those who can handle the hammer-ons in "Saturday Nights' Alright For Fighting" on the RB3 disk, this shouldn't give you much trouble at all, but for some of the less experienced players this song could be a pain in the backside to keep a combo on, I personally love it, solo's are great fun, and the main riff is great fun. For more experienced Guitar players, get it!"

Bullshit. It's such a random artist, it just has to be a leak of some sort.
If you recall they denied Pick Up the Pieces was on the schedule until it leaked on the European marketplace, so whenever they say 'something's not on the schedule' there's usually the cause 'and even if it was we wouldn't tell you.'
Now, if it was some an artist that recently had DLC or a big, well-known artist with more than one song in Rock Band. Sure, then it could be a goof by the writer of the message, but The Outlaws is neither of those.
