My Rock Band Stratocaster still works that I got with Rock Band 1. Works like a dream too.

The RB guitars are garbage. GH has always had better guitars imo.

I've had bad luck with GH guitars ever since the detachable neck Les Paul models. Starting then, every GH guitar I got starting having problems the day the warranty expired. Most of the time it was the frets that weren't working, but with last GH guitar I ever bought, the down strum didn't work half the time. Then I got a RB2 Strat that lasted me a year and I've only been using RB guitars ever since. I've yet to buy one that doesn't last me at least 9 months.

I dunno, I still think the Rock Band guitars are better because the necks slide and the strum bar works well for playing bass.
