Thats a bad way to judge bands, especially when you have only heard one era of a band (the popular one is not the best one to judge hint hint)

General statement, I hate A7X.

If I don't like what I've heard, I'm not convinced their other stuff will be good.

This thread has turned into a A7X bash-fest, which it shouldnt be.

We get it, you dont like the band, doesnt change the fact that it will be one of the best selling DLC songs in while, nor does it change the fact that its coming out next week.

People should just stop being butthurt when somebody flames/hates/doesnt like a band they like. It's always going to happen, just ignore it.

I would have to second that. You are rarely (almost never) going to change someones mind by arguing your point against theirs when it comes to taste in anything.

If there was no trolling and flaming on the Internet, it wouldn't be as exciting.

I've had at least a couple of friends who've been pretty vocal A7X haters, but were at least willing to concede to the fact that they were at least "okay" after I showed them some stuff from Waking the Fallen. Having said that, not everyone is going to like every band. That's just how it is. I don't really understand the unsubstantiated levels of hate that are directed towards these guys, though.

As for this week's DLC, Bat Country is an instant buy (although I would've preferred something pre-City of Evil; maybe Chapter Four just for its insane drum intro), and so are Guerilla Radio and Supersonic. Now I just need to get an announcement for Know Your Enemy and Renegades of Funk for RATM and Cast No Shadow and Champagne Supernova for Oasis and I'm a happy camper.

Probably going to pick up the Talking Heads pack as well, because I listened to Once in a Lifetime and had one of those "OH SHIT, THAT SONG" moments.

I remember hearing their first album years ago and that turned me off from them forever.

Definitely getting "Once in a Lifetime," not sure what else yet.

Avenged Sevenfold? Sounding the Seventh Trumpet? Highly unlikely.

Most people don't know about that album. City of Evil is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than that one.

Yeah, my cousin actually had it. That album was definitely shit.

Beast and the Harlot would be a welcome addition though

If I had to describe this DLC week with one word, that word would have to be "sucks"...
