A friend and I were recently talking about how "Royals" would never come to Rock Band since it would be painfully boring to play. Boy, were we wrong.

Yyyyeah. "Royals" seems just flat out weird choice for Rock Band, even more than many other pop songs we've had. I mean, the song barely has any instruments on it. I guess next we're going to get Imogen Heap's "Hide and Seek".

I despise "All About That Bass", but at least it has some of the instruments featured in Rock Band and should be a fairly decent party song. And I really like Sia but she's just horribly out of place in this game. Not to mention she's the artist we've gotten most songs from this fall, at least outside of packs.

I joked a few months ago about how shit it would be if All About That Bass came to Rock Band. Fucking hell, I didn't think it would actually happen!

Also Royals looks VERY boring on guitar & bass.

Might get Royals.

Hopefully we'll get a look at the free songs on the livestream today.

The guitar and bass charts on Royals look so weird, it's like they're both playing bass parts. Then again, they can only do so much with this song. I'm just surprised they found something to chart on both guitar and bass (I thought the more audible bass part would go on bass and guitar would get No Part)
