I have some suggestions for RBDLC.com. You don't need to do these, Chris, but I think they might help.

Member List- says who are mods, admin, members, ect.

Top Reviewers- Link at top shows who have the most reviews

Was this review helpful?- a thumbs up and thumbs down for reviews, this would help other people looking at the reviews to see everyone's opinion. This would be meant to be able to be used by EVERYONE.

More later, I got to go.

Well, I think it's because he's talking about a separate site...

Okay, so here's the deal with "Was this Review Helpful?":

I had thought about this one quite a bit, but I've spent a lot of time at Digg and I can tell you that what ends up happening when you have that thumbs up/thumbs down is that people just thumbs up things that agree with them. It results in everybody giving thumbs up to reviews like, "I love this song cuz it ROX!" instead of a guy who writes a very detailed, but scathing review of a well-liked song.

That's why I did the moderator thing. Mods are people I trust to make good judgement calls, rather than just throwing around their opinions. That's why things are the way they are.

This is in the works.

Presently, this link is hidden in that link on the left about the number of users on the site. It'll get it's own link at the top of the page along with other cool things later when it's more refined.

I was thinking that the helpful thing would just be a resource, it wouldn't really change anything about the review, except if people found it helpful (or agree with it).

Make it 30 seconds, to try and avoid a flurry of "ADSF" reviews.

Good point. But what if someone is reviewing the same song for all instruments?

They would have to wait a little bit to post the reviews.

Also, how about a flag user/contact admin button. I found this guy who has questionable reviews. StLouisRibs

If you're reviewing for all instruments and submitting good reviews, you should be playing it before you review it. Unless you REALLY know a song.

I only play a song before reviewing it if I really can't remember what it was like or how I felt about it.

This happens most often with bass.

Same here, but with Vocals. I could have played a song yesterday, and be able to sit down and write a nice little review about it.

Oh, and we are up over 3000 total reviews, and past 1000 reviews on Drums.

Another suggestion: Make it so that when I am viewing song reviews, I can add a review from there without having to click that box at the top. Just a "Add your own Review of this song" button near the title of the song.
