Why would Activision want to revive Guitar Hero next year? They would be lucky to sell 10% of what Call of Dookie makes. Why even bother?

Maybe they've analyzed the feedback from the hiatus and it's showing people want another game
Maybe their new developer has done something Kotick thinks people will be interested in buying
Why do you care if Activision wants to enter another game for 2012?

Enjoy your weekly Rock Band DLC till the end of time, another Guitar Hero isn't going to change anything.

Is it time for a 6th fret button? Copying RB3 and Rocksmith for the REAL guitar? Getting some unbelievably exclusive music in the game? Activision has to pull a miracle to make a comeback.

You know, I just picked up dj hero 2 last night. It's flucking amazing... Can't believe I waited this long.

Three fourths of this is pretty much every music genre fanbase except nu-metal, which covers all four
