Wii U exclusive. Holiday 2012.

Activision is too money hungry to make it a Wii U exclusive. That is not a company that would limit its game selling income to 1 console.

I agree on the sustains, but leave the purple notes alone. They work so incredibly much better than those fucking troll-lanes we are stuck with these days.

What they need is better charters that doesn't overdo everything and remember to cut sustains a 16th part beat before the next note.

... also a better vocals engine!

WoR's vocal engine is perfect- needs harmonies.

Also needs authoring standards, I've heard stories from a friend that authored vocals for GH and he was constantly like "seriously wtf are you doing" (not an actual quote).

RB4 probably isn't happening Bryan- at least not for a very very long time.

Uh no, the microphone sensitivity is way to low and there is no way to adjust that. I tried singing Bat Country on it and hit 86%, while I managed to get about 95% on RB. And yes, I am sure it was sensitivity issues, it was pretty clear when the picth "arrow" (more like meteor) vanished all the time.

HMX is making pleanty money off of DC right now. When that cools off they will come back and dance with who brought them to the dance in the first place(RB). HMX seems like an arrogant company that will not be out done. I have a feeling they know their on top right now with the best rythm game out there. So they are just chilling until someone (Activision) gives them a challenge.

I am aware we are talking maybe a year, year and a half away. I just can't help but think it will happen. Ok lets get back on topic. What do you guys think GH is bringing to the table? Enhanced Rocksmith technology so you can use any guitar to play? Pro mode with tablatures like a lot of people wanted?

DJ Hero was terrible. Not even anywhere close to a real DJ experience.

I glanced at it for 30 seconds and I found this gem that I 100% agree with.

"the most relevant place to start the discussion would be to say that DJ Hero fails to understand one of the points above – that DJing is about creating your own interpretation of music. It's not about simply playing songs – it's about dynamically reconstructing them."

All DJ Hero had was pre-made shitty Mixes with songs that have no business ever being mixed together. Tonk Hawk's Downhill Jam was innovative too, but that flopped aswell.

Then the song must be horribly charted seeing how I managed to play it just fine on RB.

Hmm you have a point and I guess it would have been cool if you could choose songs yourself and mix them as you yourself wished, but making such technology work would be extremely difficult in a simple video game, and it would be even harder with license issues and all that jazz. All in all, I never think we will get a "realistic" DJ game and we probably won't get a realistic RB where you record music with plastic instruments either, no matter how cool that would have been.

And no, GH tunes does not count.

I just wonder if the next Guitar Hero is going to abandon all the DLC from the previously released games and start fresh and new with some sort of new charting?
