Glad to hear it. FYI, without them the entire chart would be strums, none of the notes come within a 16th of each other. ---

Oh, it's the other way around? Well, all the better then. ---

Having recently wiped my savegame I can't play this on keytar right now. That makes me a sad panda. ---

Time for some fun facts: The files that Gavin gave us for Gordon Freeman were missing elements from the original song, so we had to recreate those things as best we could. All of the harmonies outside of the chorus were generate from auto-tuning the lead vocals, and the droning synth sound at the beginning of the song was clipped from the mp3 of the song. Some things we weren't able to recreate, like the "You'll never get back what you lost" vocal line in the outro of the song, and also the harmony in the second half of verse 2 (we tried and it sounded like shit).
So, this version of the song is pretty unique. ---

A friend just contacted me, he said his band is ready to put a bunch of songs on Rock Band and said they knew I know how to do it, could I get the details to send to him really quick?
I said you guys could do it, mostly because I've seen your charts and they are all really good, but also because I'd like to help you guys out, this is the best way I see myself doing that.

I appreciate the initiative but unfortunately we're not taking new clients at this time. We have a lot of songs in our queue still left to do. :/ ---

All Shall Perish? Nah, what is wrong with Alt-Strum? They seem to have plenty of popular songs.

Popular, yes. But they have had tons of technical issues. And in some cases have published unfinished songs.

Well my buddy really wanted to know who to contact, I don't know much about the difference in the Charting Groups, I just knew that you guys haven't put out a chart I didn't like so I came here first.

Yeah, I'd try someone like RockGamer or Fairwood. ---

RGS Is good, but they charge obscene amounts nowadays from what i have heard, and no longer have profit sharing deals. Fairwood is also too busy with those Jazz songs he got recently to take on new artists.
Honestly, TAG would probably be your best bet IMO. There always signing new artists, so getting accepted shouldn't be that hard. All the other good authors are busy and over-committed already.

Just as long as your songs have no harmonies, that is ;) ---

For the hundredth time, they didn't have separated stems, they COULDN'T chart the damn harmonies! Many of TAG's songs were mastered out pre-RB3, so the vocal stems were baked into one single stem, thus making it impossible to differentiate each individual part, aside from being some kind of god-man who can isolate sounds with psychic powers.
