Chords look really weird.
I'm probably looking at it the wrong way, but I find them hard to read.

After reading a several reviews now it looks like I'll pass on this until the price comes down.
It's interesting and reviewed pretty well, but since I already have a Squier and quite a bit of pro content, I just don't see a pressing need for it as it stands at the moment. I'd rather add more pro stuff. If there was more to add that is. :)

There's just not enough "game" in it to justify it for me. With what the Squier can do and as familiar as I am with RB already, RS would just give me another system to learn, and since most of the songs don't float my boat enough to justify the $ I'll hold off.

The pedal and amp tones that it can put out would make it a great value if you have a good sound system hooked to your tv and want to avoid spending a fortune on the equipment, but that's not enough for me to pull the trigger on it yet since I have most of the tone gear I want.

As a side note, they do sell the cable separate from the game for $30.00. (In case anyone hasn't heard). They had them at Amazon but are out at the moment.

I've looked at some of the higher quality videos in full screen and in HD.
It's pretty clear how they represent chords. I think once you have the color code for the strings memorized, this game becomes extremely easy to learn songs on.

How the fuck do you read the chords on Slither? I can barely see them.

Lines are open strings, the blocks represent where you have to hold the strings down on the frets. I think. I don't have the game. But it makes sense if you look at it like that.

True that. I think it's to properly represent which strings are the bottom ones (the low notes) and which are the high ones. Because it's like, reverse. The bottom strings are on top and vice versa.
Also I'm thinking for beginners, as you look down from holding the guitar, that's how the strings look. So that makes it easier for people new to guitar to copy what's shown on the screen to their hands.

But yeah, logically, it's upside down. They even made it look like you see the back of the guitar neck transparently in the game. And if you look at it that way it's all wrong lol

I wonder if they give you the option to change it.

Well I won't be getting Rocksmith seeing as it doesn't come out in EU until 2012. What the fuck Ubisoft?!

Can anyone that has the game tell this? I'd like to know as well :p
