Only songs I could recommend are Higher Ground and Sir Duke.
The guitar chart for I Wish is very similar to Snow (Hey Oh). Both are not fun, at all.
Overall: Fucking abysmal on guitar.
Pack: 2/5
> Guitar
>Stevie Wonder
Welp there's your problem right there. Bass is pretty incredible across the board but by the god of hell do I wish they picked another pro choice for I Wish. OUCH. The bass on Sir Duke definitely makes up for it.

This wouldn't have been a problem if Stevie Wonder released songs in the 00s

I don't really enjoy Superstition on guitar in GH but I didn't think it was possible for Rock Band to make it less enjoyable.
Drums look great 3:00 onward

I'm mostly surprised at how suddenly Harmonix picked back up their 'Chart ALL the intruments!' pledge that they haven't used since, like, that Procol Harem song

I can kind of understand it with this pack. Only 1 song has an genuine guitar track to chart, whereas packs in previous weeks that have had Guitar parts excluded from only 1 or 2 tracks.
Kind of a nessecary evil I guess. It didn't help "I Wish" Or "Superstiton" on Guitar sadly. Both are dead weights, and pretty crap.
Those two songs on Bass on the other hand, amazing! --- Recent FC's

So, Guitar impressions...
Superstition: Crap, nothing much going on, and when you do play it's a really awkward sax part. Don't bother with it.
I Wish: Better than Superstition, but it's annoying to play, hurts like hell after a while, and awkward throughout. Crap, don't bother with it.
Living For The City: Amazing song, and a great guitar chart. It's blank for the first third of the song, but it really heats up after a few ambient held notes with fast paced hammer-on snaking all over the place, with some sneaky chords thrown in at times lots of variety in this section. Recommened for Guitarists!
Sir Duke: The only actual Guitar this week is a solid effort too. With a fun main chorus that has you bouncing up and down the fretboard with hammer-ons and three note chords, and a section inbetween that pops up that jumps between single notes and two note chords very rapidly, it's tricky to hit, but satisfying once you do. Also reccomended.
Higher Ground: So glad we got this version instead of the RHCP's version. One of the few songs in Rock Band that has me bouncing around while playing. It's a pretty energetic Guitar chart that has you hopping around from the left to the right side of the fretboard and vice versa. Some crazy fun note-snaking thrown in there too. The last of the three I'd tell Guitarists to pick up.
3/5. Not bad, but Superstition, and I Wish easily rank as two of the worst Guitar charts in RB to date. --- Recent FC's

The guitar reviews are really scathing. Oh well, at least I was really only planning on picking up this pack for bass and keys.

Just "Supertition" and "I Wish" are bad really. "Higher Ground", "Living For The City", and "Sir Duke" are actually good. --- Recent FC's

"Living for the City" isn't really that good on guitar. Yes, the last third is really fun, but there's far too much blank space of repetition through the first two thirds to constitute calling it a "good guitar song".
"Living for the City" is for guitarists what "Behind Blue Eyes" is for drummers. --- Life is excellent, the tap water tastes like excrement, the skies rain poison, and I gotta pay the rent!

I just review charts based on what's actually there to play, rather than what's not. I knew there was going to be downtime on Guitar because I'd heard the song many times before. I had an absolute blast with "Living For The City" personally. Some songs have parts that just aren't worth the wait, but this one surprised me. --- Recent FC's

Propinions:
Guitar: Don't know what you're expecting. I Wish's two parts are actually a relatively fun guitar experience, but man it sure is a repetitive experience. Sir Duke outside of the bridge is annoying for me with how the chords are handled, but the bridge sure is fun. Sir Duke wins education-wise for having chords in there at all, I guess. It's almost like it's a real guitar part.
Bass: Better than guitar, but I guess that's not saying much. I Wish is probably the harder of the two to me, with two nonstop patterns and a number of fills (largely charted as dead notes though), but I found Sir Duke much more enjoyable. It's slower, but it moves around more within each pattern, its myriad small variations within the pattern feel more natural and intuitive to play, and the bridge is an absolute blast. It just feels easier to get into a groove in, man.
So, it's like a funk upgrade. If it's not obvious, Sir Duke is the better of the two in my opinion, and is definitely worth a look if you mess with Pro Bass at all.
Also, man, I am out of shape on Pro Guitar/Bass. Oh well, gives me a reason to play them again! EDIT: Oh right, I forgot to reset my lag after playing out of town. That might be it too!

That's probably because Sir Duke's guitar chart is actually guitar ---
