Creedence Clearwater Revival and their music resonated with audiences of the late-60s and 70s, with a rock and roll style that blended diverse musical styles into a tight and distinct sound. The band found success with songs that evoked imagery of Southern Americana… despite the fact that the band itself was from California!
Their first hit single, “Susie Q,” from 1976’s Chronicle, Vol. 1, first appeared on their self-titled 1968 album, and was their take on rockabilly legend Dale Hawkins’ influential classic. The group found further success with originals, including “Lodi” from 1969’s Green River and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” from 1970’s Pendulum.
These three landmarks in rock history come to the Rock Band Music Store on January 24th as “Creedence Clearwater Revival Pack 02.” For those interested in a deeper dive into a classic, a Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrade for “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” will be available.

YESSSSSSSS!!! Have You Ever Seen the Rain, finally!! At least, my 'C' week prediction was 50% right lol. I said about 'C' songs, but was 'C' band... And the delay persists, why Euro will get this pack only Feb 8th?????? Fuc*!!

Can we really be calling Disturbed, Nickelback, Alestorm and glam metal in general the most repetitive acts of all time? I love CCR, but man if these guys don't give The Ramones a run for their money.
Definitely getting Suzy Q and Have You Ever Seen The Rain, might get Lodi eventually.
More CCR is never a bad thing, though we do need more Southern Rock in general. Some Eagles would be nice, and maybe some studio Outlaws. I also say we need more Allman Brothers.
I like a lot of CCR, but I feel like we got a strong offering from them with the last pack and to me this isn't an essential addition. Probably will get Have You Ever Seen the Rain?, maybe the other two if I'm feeling generous.
You don't want to know the things I would do to get Allman Brothers Band songs with keys and pro upgrades.
And of course if they ever happen to do at least a legacy pro upgrade it's going to be Midnight Rider rather than Blue Sky due to popularity. Because life is cruel.
Interesting sidenote: Last I checked I think Southern Rock has the highest ratio of Pro upgrades available. Because it's one of the least represented genres.
Dammit, do you know how BADLY I want that song? I'm pissed off that Rocksmith got this!
As for the DLC this week, meh. I like CCR but guitar will probably be nothing special.

@xX66xX and Dr. Sardonicus,
Yes. I'd love to see more instrumentals and there are plenty of people who want that song in there. The CCR pack next week is a great return to southern rock for the time being.

Why else would I still be here?!
More CCR is not a bad thing, but then again two of these picks don't interest me as some as the other songs they could have picked. I am excited for Have You Seen the Rain though! I will be picking it all up as always. I think I am seeing a trend. This happened last year too, classic rock towards the end of 2010, a lot during early 2011 with some modern thrown in, and then classic continues until the Summer. I hope that this a trend they continue. I don't mind me some classic rock at all.
