DLC Announcements: Killers coming to Rock Band Nov. 25

Representatives of MTV told Wired.com that three Killers songs would appear on the Rock Band music store on the same day: "Mr. Brightside," Smile Like You Mean It" and "Spaceman,"the latter another new single from Day and Age.

According to Major Nelson:
The "Bemani Pack" includes "My Only Shining Star", "Death Real", "CHIMERA", "Progressive Baby" and "MODEL DD 8", available for 440 Microsoft Points together or 120 individually

DLC Announcements: Hendrix pack rocks Guitar Hero: World Tour.

Today, November 13 will add 3 new Hendrix tunes onto Guitar Hero: World Tour's DLC list. These tunes are available for download now.

the pack consists of:
Fire (Live)
If 6 Was 9
Little Wing

You will not be able to purchase the Hendix songs individually, you can only buy them in that package. They retail for 440 MSP.

DLC Announcements: Dig Your Singles Out

Four songs were added to Guitar Hero: World Tour today. Three are singles from Oasis' new album "Dig Your Soul Out":

Bag It Up
The Shock of the Lightning
Waiting for the Rapture

The rest of the album will be released early 2009.

The other song is Jack White & Alicia Keys performing "Another Way to Die", which is the theme song for the new James Bond movie Quantum of Solace.

DLC Announcements: DLC for the week of 11/11

I am very happy to announce here (before anywhere else) that next week's DLC offering will be the Foo Fighter's The Colour and the Shape album (one of my favorites). With �Everlong� already featured on the Rock Band 2 soundtrack, the DLC album will include the following tracks:

1. "Doll"
2. "Monkey Wrench"
3. "Hey, Johnny Park!"
4. "My Poor Brain�
5. "Wind Up"
6. "Up in Arms"
7. "My Hero"
8. "See You�
9. "Enough Space"
10. "February Stars�
11. "Walking After You�
12. �New Way Home�

The Colour and the Shape will be available for download starting November 11, 2008, for the Xbox�360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and November 13, 2008, for the PS3. Pricing will be $19.99 (1600 Microsoft Points) for the album, or $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) per track. All tracks are masters.

DLC Announcements: 3 pack by Presidents of the U.S.A. on Nov. 4.

November 4th will see the release of the most election day appropriate Rock Band 2 track pack possible, featuring three songs from The Presidents of the United States of America. 'Ladybug', 'Feather Pluck'n' and 'Dune Buggy', will be joining 'Lump', which is available on the Rock Band 2 disc.

edit: Also, joining the Presidents will be "I Don't Care" by Fall Out Boy and "Use Me" by Hinder. That week will also see the release of the Rock Band 2 free songs, and the AC/DC Live pack, totaling 43 songs. Wow.
