One of the duller metal songs to play on Guitar this year. Poinkish
There really isn't much to say about "Amaranth" when it comes to the Guitar chart. It mainly consists of steady chord strumming, moving up and down the fretboard on a regular occurrence, followed by some steady single note strumming that switches up and down the guitar neck, it basically switches back and forth between these 2 pattern changes. It's pretty underwhelming, and other tier 2 songs such as "Died In Your Arms Tonight" prove that a low tier difficulty doesn't always equal a dull chart.

It's not bad, but nothing special.

Better than the Guitar! Poinkish
Unlike the Guitar, the Bass chart for "Amaranth" holds up considerably better. It consists of a lot of steady single note strumming that matches the pacing of the Guitar, but it offers a bit more variety as you move up and down the fretboard. The most noticeable being some pretty fun 4-note trills during a section that has you anchoring down the green note, simple but a fun addition, there are also a few other little tweaks in the overall pattern, unlike the Guitar.

It's a strong bassline, so for bassist's. I can recommend it.

Instrument Played: Orchestra Dr Sardonicus
First of all, I feel like this song is undertiered. I feel like this should be around a 4. Secondly, this song is a lot of fun! When I first played it, it felt like random buttons being pushed, but playing again for this review, the chart has a lot of structure that makes it incredibly fun. Even the choruses manage to be incredibly fun. Like Airbrushed, this is another song that drives me to become better.
