This is my least favorite Andromeda chart. Granted, I still like it, but it's not quite up to par with the others.
The opening has a mix of eighth and sixteenth notes, all strummed, going up and down the fretboard. Then it moves to the first verse, which switches between long sustains and little riffs that while a tad repetitive are fun to play.
However, I did notice that some of the notes are not palm-muted, and it's obvious it's meant to bring those notes out. I just wish they did something to differentiate the non-palm-muted notes from the palm-muted ones, because as it is it does feel a bit odd. I also could have sworn I heard a chord or two that were charted as single notes.
The chorus consists mostly of fast strumming and moving about the fretboard. These segments are fun, up until the bridge, which while not dull, is certainly the least challenging part, since it's mostly sustains.
Then we have the guitar/keyboard jam. Good look hitting some of these parts, especially the spamtastic second guitar part. I wish I could finger tap with both hands on the frets, because I think that'd make that part fun.
Overall, the chart's tough and has a few flaws, but it's still worth playing, especially if you're into this kind of progressive rock.
