Why no Pro? RBAddict666
I can't understand why HMX never did Pro upgrades for this song. It would've been EPIC on Pro Guitar and Bass!

Nicolas-1223 - This song is amazing, and definitely one of the best songs to come as DLC. To start off, it's a whopping 13 minutes! Very few songs in Rock Band hit this mark, the only one I can think of surpassing this being Rush's "2112". As a whole, the instrument charts are interesting and fun. To nitpick, though...

Guitar is great, no question. There must be around 4 or 5 solos, and when the talk box comes in, you're in for a wild ride. Be warned - the solo at the end could fail you as it did for me the first time I played it. Bass is probably the worst instrument of the song - it's a real snooze during the several minutes where everything's quiet except the guitar and keys - nothing but sustains. Drums are a hit and miss; during the guitar solos, you're just hitting the yellow and blue pads repeatedly, which can get really tiring and repetitive. Outside that portion of the song, though, the drums are pretty fun and mildly challenging. Keys I never could pass entirely, and that goes to show you that this song is a bastard on pro keys. Anyone that can pass it, I salute you. And finally, vocals, the lowest-tiered here. You'll find yourself doing nothing for the majority of the middle part as there isn't many lyrics. However, I think it's neat that HMX charts the talk box vocals to vocals. It looks mighty weird when the character is singing though, but it's certainly really neat.

I also forgot to mention - the mixing on this song sounds horrible. It sounds really muffled and quiet. I blame the factor of it being a live version and the mastering is probably annoying because of that.

All in all, this song deserves a good, solid 4 star. Great charts, but a few flaws here and there.

Dead Player - They are lazy bastards who doesn't give a damn about perfection or what the fan's really want, it's as simple as that. Reply
