I have to confess I was more than a little concerned when I saw the chart for this song's guitar, as it was intense, fast, complicated, and unrelenting on all instruments.
While this is true for the solo region, the rest of the song is mellow enough with plenty of variation to keep anyone busy.
On guitar, the song starts out simple, with sweep-like strums across the whole board, then a running series of chord hammer ons, then back to a combination of both. There's a lot of variety, doesn't stay on one pattern for long, and then introduces more patterns and riffs.
Then, about three minutes in or so, we get a full minute long guitar solo that LOOKS challenging, but isn't that bad. Yeah, watching the preview had me scared, but actually playing it was far more intuitive and fun than I expected.
Lots of variety, never stays on one pattern for too long, easy to learn, tough to master, challenging but fair. Pretty much everything I want out of a guitar track.
Literally everyone still playing Rock Band should get this song on any instruments.
