Let's face it, the bass has never been the focus of the RB series. I know people who still call for rhythm guitar to replace it again.
But from RB1 there were a few songs that made it clear bass was strong enough to stand on its own, and this was one of them.
It's certainly not difficult, but it moves around a great deal and has a surprising amount of HO/POs. But probably the most notable thing here is how natural it feels. There's a lot of slight variations in there that really make it a blast to play, you definitely get a feel that the bass part isn't just the rhythm of the song, but goes on define it in many other ways.
I don't know much Rolling Stones, but if the rest of their songs play like this, I'm on the bandwagon for more of them.
