Best DLC ever GEROMY
You know what the craziest part of this song is? There's a twenty-second harmonica solo charted to guitar. It's fast, fun, and easy to choke on but very hard to actually do poorly on.

No, what's craziest is that that's actually the least fun part of the song. Like, holy crap. This is SO FUN. There's tons of fretboard movement, alternation between single notes and chords, a couple alt-strum heavy sections, HOPOs all over the place, and it flows so smoothly from one section to another.

Incredible DLC. Overtiered a little (this should probably be 5 dots across the board) but that doesn't say anything about the quality of this song (excellent).

The bass is good too. GEROMY
Inferior to the guitar chart in the same way all bass charts are inferior to the guitar chart. Otherwise, very fun chart with tons of movement and HOPOs literally everywhere. Occasional bass chords and varied rhythms too. God, it's just plain fun.

What more can I say? John Popper is an extremely talented vocalist and harmonicist, and this chart is rightfully devils. Super fun to sing, but watch out for the rapid-fire verse after the harmonica solo, as it can catch you off guard!

I played this song right when it came out on Guitar, and I didn't like it. I found it awkward to play for the first half, hectic in the wrong way in the second half, with a mess of a solo where they charged the solo.

I posted a review, and people HATED it. So I rethought my stance, I thought up a few excuses for why I hated it when everyone else liked it. I took that review down.

Then I played it again and found I hated it...not as much as the first time, but still worthy of one star. MAYBE two if I'm generous.

Most of the first half of the song is an admittedly rather interesting chord section with HO/PO bits sprinkled around in there. It's not bad, it's not terrible, but it's not great either. Maybe 3 stars for that segment.

Then it gets really boring before the solo.

Then it turns into skittles barfing on a treadmill messy for the solo. Some people like that (I love challenging songs and adored playing stuff like Seventeen and Nevermore), but this is just 'stupid hard', not 'challenging but fun'.

After the solo, it goes into a strum-chord section that...Honestly is just unpleasant to play. I'm not sure if maybe it's my TV or my sound settings, but no matter how well I played it, I could NOT figure out what part I was playing. It was supposedly the guitar after the harmonica solo, but I couldn't hear it so the notes were just an indecipherable mess coming at me with no audio clues as to what it was.

Honestly, I overall like the song, to listen to it. I like the singer, I like the bluesy-jazzy feel to it all, and I have the track on my MP3 player....but to play on Guitar is just unpleasant. It had a kinda good part near the beginning, but then by the end it's just horrid. It's one of those songs I put the controller down and let play itself out.

HAd the song been flipped with the simpler chord section at the end instead of the beginning, I might give this a 2. However, I have to judge based on how FUN the track is, and when the entire final two thirds were an unpleasant mess, it always leaves me with just THE most sour taste in my mouth.

1/5 (I'd give it 0 if I could)
