This song goes from slow to moderate to insane.
The opening is just two kicks and four hi-hit hits. Nothing really that fun and/or interesting, but right before you lose interest Mitch starts hitting his Ride and Snare, with some interesting fills inbetween.
Now that you are starting to love the song, Mitchell goes back to two kicks four hi-hats. But don't lose hope, because he goes back to the pattern you saw earlier, with the ride/snare fills after what feels like 30 or so seconds. He continues this while Jimi solos.
Then, the drum solo. This solo kicked my ass HARD. It is a very fast, long drum roll with pauses and build-ups inbetween.
The rest of the song is very fun, full of great fills and rolls, and some fun to hit patterns.
As I said before, song goes from boring to fun to crazy and back to fun. If you are a dedicated drummer who loves a challenge, get it. If you are a casual drummer, I'm guessing you won't like it since the solo will kill you most every time.
