On Guitar, this song doesn't really have a whole lot of diversity. Theres only two main patterns, the verse pattern, and the slightly different chorus pattern.
The verse pattern consists of some interesting chord strumming with about 3 hammer-ons until repeating.
The chorus is even more simple, with some easy two note chords that have you descending one finger downward, with not much change with the repeats.
Overall, this song isn't too exciting after you've been repeating these same patterns for so long. Its not exactly totally repetitive, because it does keep your attention, but it just repeats so many times that you just get tired, and with the song only having a few slight, almost unnoticeable variations, you get tired of it eventually.
I'm giving this a 3/5 because its entertaining, but gets a little repetitive after awhile, however, it is not absolutely boring, so its fun enough to deserve a 3.
If you're mainly a guitarist and you're looking for more of a challenge, you may want to look elsewhere, and since Jane's Addiction has a large number of entertaining guitar songs, you won't have to look far.
