Nothing Special, but Nothing Awful Dr Sardonicus
New Divide isn't a song that will amaze anyone on guitar, but it's not a song that's overtly bad to play. Compared to most of the Linkin Park songs I've played on guitar, it's probably better than most, but I won't rush back to it.

The first thing about the chart is that you don't play the distorted notes near the beginning and throughout the song. Instead, these are charted onto the keys. Instead, during the chorus, you play the actual guitar part, which is alt-strumming single notes on the red, followed by green and yellow notes. It's pretty boring, but it's playable. During the verses, you play hammer-on sustains, which is also boring, but better than playing nothing during the verse, like What I've Done or Burn it Down.

After this is the chorus again, followed by a verse, a chorus, and the bridge. The bridge is played as one pattern, but it's a surprisingly fun pattern that saves the song from a 2. It's also where I broke my combo, so watch for that. After that is the chorus again, until the song ends.

Overall, the song's not terrible, but it's not great. It's better than Breaking the Habit, and it's definitely better than how the other two songs looked. If you need a song from every week, this is the song to get, but overall, this was not a great week for guitar players.
