A laid-back, surprisingly varied Guitar chart! Poinkish
Gotta say, I had one of those "Oh That Song!" moments when I listened to this after it got announced. And out of all the songs this week, it's probably the biggest surprise on Guitar. It's got this strange mix of steady chords, and constant alt-strumming that has you switching between single notes and chords throughout, with some hammer-on strings toward the end of the song. It's one of those charts that doesn't seem to be anything special to play just by looking at it, but playing it is a different story, it's consistent and fun throughout! Totally get it.

Greg's Drums Everclearboy
As I'm still learning Pro Drums there are many things I need to get down to advance to being Hard/Expert more regularly. As such I like songs that have some elements you find in harder songs demonstrated in a simpler song that makes it much easier to learn without being overwhelmed. Greg's drumming on this song does exactly that. Just a great mix that makes for a fun play. If your looking for some extreme challenge don't think I can call it that, but it's still enjoyable!

Art's Gritty Vocals Everclearboy
Firstoff I'm partially biased obviously.. but here goes..

Santa Monica kinda has something for everyone and the harmony aspect of the song is somewhat unusual but works well none-the-less. I can't say that the vocals are a major challenge but do however make for fun if you have two others able to harmonize along with as it really brings to life that West Coast 90's Alternative sound. Art's range shifts just a tad enough to keep you on your toes on what you thought the octave would be though so I have to consider it a strong performance.
