This is probably my favorite White Stripes song that we've gotten, and it's a real treat that the bass part could actually pass for bass.
The main riff has a B O B Y R single note riff in it (trapped between sustains, admittedly), which is pretty fun. It also gets a small variation with a HO/PO in the chorus which is used in later verses as well.
The chorus is led into with straight eights on yellow followed by the same on the orange. From there, it's got a variation on the verse riff, then a further mutation with a HO/PO in a different spot. Both of these are kinda fun for the first chorus.
But the problem with this bass, as with so many other basses, is that a decent rhythm is just stretched too far. There's three verses and three choruses, and I just don't feel their rhythms can work as subsistence for the length of the song.
It might be nice for someone getting the hang of bass on a level, but I can't see them returning to it often after that. Or at least playing the whole song through.
