Story tellin' witty vocals Drumony
You don't have to be a cowpoke to appreciate the likes of this classic by Kenny Rogers. This finely crafted tune is what makes story tellin' a genuine art when put to music that still holds its own place from today's radio so-called hits. "The Gambler" provides witty lyrics from the get go includin' its memorable chorus ex. 'You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em...' A great sing along for anybody holdin' the mic, especially for those baritone inebriated ones, and even those who like to shout out between phrases. This vintage country track adds a sure party-pleasure with a moderate pace of lyrics thrown at ya within each phrase. A definite must have so go ahead & belt this one out, you'll still have a toe-tappin' helluva good time!

I love this song as much as the next guy(well probly not as much as the guy who made the first review)but their is just tis part in this song that I hate and it is the only thing holding me from a gold star. Its the fast BGBG part.To me it looks and sounds like im hittig it prfectly, but thats not what the little circle at the bottom of my screen teel me.But other than that its a grea song.I admit when I heard that their was going to be a country pack 2 I was preety mad and dissapointed but this song diffently made it better. ;)

Perfect mix of variety and fun nascarfan19
The song has a lot of variety with various patterns throughout the song. Not many parts involve challenge, but the song is overall fun to listen to, and try out the vocals as well because it is very fun to sing!

I recommend this song for drummers or vocalists!
