What a treat, one of the most influential Progressive Death Metal Bands of 90s not only makes a reappearance, but we get one of the best tunes off of their new album, Traced in Air.
The Space for This is a song that has nearly everything there is to enjoyed on drums: Crazy energetic proggy polyrhythms, metallic double bass work, arm shredding fills, and a solo that will have you crying to your mother afterwards, and TSfT keeps it all in a compact 6 minutes. I honestly have no complaints about this song.
I guess I could say one would be that there are a few lengthy gaps between playing but their is virtually no repetition and the parts that are repeated are changed up enough to be interesting.
buy it. why are you still reading this, go buy it........now.
