Let's face it; the main reason people seem to love this song so much on guitar is the intro. The intro is freaking awesome. The rest of the song, though, I find not very fun.
The opening riff is like a very slow version of the TTFaF opening, in the sense that you're switching between green and higher notes at a rate of 16th notes. It's slow enough that it isn't aggravating and the forced strums are a nice touch.
However, after that we get an awkward chord riff that if you don't know what your doing may kill your hands. However, the technique is to switch between holding the green note and holding BOTH the red and yellow notes. This way the yellow notes are hit after the R-Y chord without potentially hurting yourself.
The chorus is a dull series of sustains that really add little excitement. The solos are a little varied, but are short and offer only a little fun.
Overall, if it weren't for the intro it'd be a three star review. But the solo almost makes up for everything else.
