This bass is easily one of the most unusual ones I've ever seen. First of all, the bass does not come in until about halfway through the song, so in the meantime go check your e-mail.
For the rest of the song, however, you're playing an unorganized mixture of alt-strums with powerchords that occasionally plays similarly to Crazy Train guitar.
Yes, I'm comparing a Fleetwood Mac bassline to Ozzy Osbourne's devil-tiered metal.
Now, here's the thing, the pattern is pretty difficult because it also throws in random HOPOs and chords in the middle of your fast alt-strumming, to a more annoying effect. This makes the oddly structured song into a mess of difficult alt-strumming tricks.
Personally, this appears to be a song that would vary from person to person, whether they like absurd alt-strumming challenges or not. As someone in the not group, this would've probably put my review at 2 stars (especially with the long wait), but I felt that this is a song that would definitely appeal to some people, putting it an even 3 stars. Check out the chart before you buy it, especially if you're a bass player.
