On guitar, I can't pass a handful of the top-tier difficulty songs on Expert (eg. Green Grass & High Tides, Bodhisattva), usually because they're songs I dislike and don't want to practice when there's so many other songs I love in the game - though there are a couple (Snow (Hey Oh), Surfing with the Alien, Visions) that may always be beyond me. Other than those, I've gold-starred more than half my RB/TB:RB songs.
On bass, the only song I can't play on Expert is, once again, Visions. Because it sucks. In some ways I enjoy bass more than guitar, due to the higher number of HO/PO and lower number of chords.
I like the drums but am considerably less talented at them than guitar, since I've practiced far less with them, in no small part due to hardware problems. I'm comfortable on Hard, but there are a few songs that trip me up even at that difficulty. Since getting my new RB2 kit, I'm working pretty hard to get my drums up to at least a passable Expert level. I rarely do vocals except solo..
My wife often plays with me as an Expert vocalist. We're always looking for more casual Rock Band players to fill out our band, The Gallifreyans (and most especially if you recognize the band name). Feel free to add me on XBL.
