Hello All,

We are The Real Impostors (online you'll find us as Impostors). We're a three piece band and we are looking to have some fun online sessions with some of you. Here's our lineup and a little more information about us:

Maxwell Edison - Guitar/Bass (Expert)
Maxwell is a Guitar Hero veteran and can play most everything (except "Visions" and a couple of others) on Expert Guitar or Expert Bass. He's good. REAL good!

Billy Shears - Drums (Hard/Expert)
Billy can play most songs well on Hard and is currently (and quickly) working towards playing everything on Expert. He plays mostly Expert Drums on The Beatles: Rock Band.

Polythene Pam - Vocals (Hard)
Pam is currently working her way towards being able to sing most everything on Hard. She can already sing more than 50% of the songs on Hard (more on The Beatles: Rock Band).

We're trying to find some regular people to play with. We're looking for other bassists/guitarists to join us when we're online. You should be able to play most everything on Hard or Expert on either guitar or bass (or both). We are on periodically in the late evenings throughout the week. But our main sessions are on Sunday nights from about 8:00pm EST (sometimes earlier) until 3:00am EST (sometimes later) and Thursday nights from about 8:00pm EST until 3:00am EST. We prefer the classic/alternative rock songs in Rock Band 2 more than the metal. But we will occasionally work on that stuff as well. Maxwell will be happy to switch off on guitar and bass and will even let you choose which you would like to play on each song (for those that like to play both).

If this all sounds good to you, let's jam! You can also email us at therealimpostors@hotmail.com and let us know what songs you would like to play in Rock Band 2 (The Beatles: Rock Band already has you covered) and we'll make sure that at least one out of every four song choices is yours. Emailing us is optional, but it is a great way to communicate in between (and also during) jam sessions and will give us a way to get to know each other better. Again, this is optional and only for those that care to take it to another level. Regardless of whether or not you wish to email us, feel free to add our Friend Codes and come and play with us when you see us online. Here are our Friend Codes:

IMPORTANT: We play for long stretches of time and put a lot of energy into our playing. So we do like to take short breaks once an hour. Remember, there are three of us here on this end so getting something to drink, going to the bathroom, etc. can take a little time. Still, our breaks usually only last for 5-10 minutes. When taking breaks, we will go to Tokyo and sit on the Gorilla Dome in Rock Band 2 (or we'll sit on And Your Bird Can Sing in The Beatles: Rock Band). That's how you will know that we are all taking a quick break.

We'll be online in Rock Band 2 and looking for a fourth member (bassist/guitarist) to join us on both Monday night (tonight - February 15th) beginning at around 9:00pm EST and on Wednesday night (February 17th) for a shorter session beginning at around 11:00pm EST.

After that, we will be away for a week and a half but will be returning on Sunday, February 28th at around 8:00pm EST and will then be going back to our regular schedule of every Thursday and Sunday evening starting at around 8:00pm EST.

I actually love to play bass guitar so I am willing to play any time. On Sunday's I can play until my hockey game, or midnight EST as I have to work in the morning. Weekdays I can usually play from about 6 EST until about 12 EST.

Not sure if my times will work for you, and Ill add you so add me and if you see me online and need someone send me an invite and if Im not in a session ill join. I dont like to quit out on people. Also I can play expert drums all but about 7 songs so if you ever need drums I can do that too.

We were on until 3:00am or so as well. You left the session after the two or three songs that we played and we thought you made a choice to leave. So we didn't want to bother you. We were wondering what happened ourselves and was hoping you would message us on the Rock Band site. It might have been a connection problem. We played with someone last night who showed us how to fix our router's firewall settings so hopefully it won't be happening again. Glad to know that you're still interested in playing together. We were having a great time playing with you. We'll be on again Thursday night (tomorrow) as well as Sunday night. We'll look for you then and send you an invite if we see you online.
